The Manor Park School Council is made up of volunteer parents/guardians of students from Manor Park School. School Councils are advisory organizations, mandated by the Ministry of Education, and make recommendations to the principal and School Board when appropriate.
The Manor Park School Council promotes the educational interests of our students and school. In cooperation with the Manor Park Home & School Association, which manages fundraising activities coordinated by parents, the Council helps to provide students with books, audio-visual equipment, field trips, sports equipment and much more. Together, we provide resources to support sports and arts programming, as well as teacher support through increased volunteerism in our school.
Manor Park School Council elections will take place in September at the monthly meeting at 7:00pm in the school library. If you’re thinking of being involved as a member of the parent council for 2018-2019, please come out to the meeting.

BYLAWS OF THE MANOR PARK SCHOOL COUNCIL
The School Council holds elections at the beginning of every school year for all of the above Executive positions.
Approximately once a month, parents and guardians meet to plan, organize and start activities to increase the educational experience of the students at our school, through input and direction provided by the principal, teachers and staff. In addition to this, the Council also discusses various educational issues or opportunities that could potentially impact Manor Park School students. Please see Meetings for the meeting schedule.
